RealOutdoorsTV.com Video Contest

Are you an outdoor enthusiast that likes to record your hunting, fishing, and other outdoor adventures on video? Now you can submit your clips to RealOutdoorsTV.com and win prizes throughout the year!

Starting in December 2007, members who submit their videos are eligible to win an iPod nano (enter early and often to increase your odds). The iPod nano allows you to watch up to 5 hours of TV shows, music videos, movies, and podcasts, as well as listen to your favorite music. One iPod nano will be given away in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, with winners announced according to the schedule below.

Spring 2008 - Winner announced April 1st, 2008
Summer 2008 - Winner announced July 1st, 2008
Fall 2008 - Winner announced October 1st, 2008
Winter 2008 - Winner announced January 1st, 2009

Note: Other prizes will be announced at a later date.

Getting Started

To submit your videos, first you must register as a member of RealOutdoorsTV.com. Registration is quick and free. After registering, just upload your videos, which are automatically entered into our contest. To make things better, the more you upload the better your changes of winning!

Acceptable Videos

Videos must adhere to the following guidelines to be eligile:

Videos must be outdoor-related. Examples of eligible videos include hunting, fishing, offroad, and other videos depicting outdoor-related sports and recreational activities. Videos of your kids in the back yard, your picnic at the park, and so on are not eligible.
You must own the copyright to the videos you submit.
Videos should have minimal advertising, verbal or on-screen, for any company, product, service, or Web site.
Videos cannot contain any offensive or illegal content.

Judging

Videos will be judged by a panel of judges selected by RealOutdoorsTV.com, comprising of industry leaders and veterans such as Jeremy Henricks (Henricks Outdoors), Wil Askew (Broadside Adventures), Troy Neimann (Outdoor Speaker), Gary Lewis (Outdoor Writer), Rocky Francis (Broadside Adventures), and more. Judging will be based on a combination of factors, including quality, creativity, content, and overall impression.
